The interpretation of Cabernet Franc is unique to each appellation, whether Spring Mountain, Diamond Mountain, Howell Mountain, or Mount Veeder. I knew I could create a wine that has incredible complexity and celebrate Cabernet Franc at a quality level. The addition of Merlot and its tonality of flavor could balance the wine in such a way to create an even higher level of experience for the collector.
Comprised of 76.5% Cabernet Franc and 23.5% Merlot, our inaugural vintage is primarily sourced from our Yverdon Vineyard in the Spring Mountain District.
